Dutch Traveller Madly Rover Amazed by Vande Bharat Train's Rotating Seats and Speed

Dutch traveller Madly Rover shares his Mumbai-to-Pune Vande Bharat Express journey on YouTube, revealing why the rotating Executive Class seats, a speedometer reading of 107 kmph and a question about stone-pelting caught his attention.

A Dutch traveller, Madly Rover, has shared his Mumbai-to-Pune journey aboard India's Vande Bharat Express on YouTube, drawing attention on social media after expressing surprise at the train's facilities. While the rotating seats in the Executive Class particularly impressed him, the speed displayed on the speedometer also caught him off guard.

The video captures his experience aboard the train, from exploring its facilities to checking its speed and asking a railway attendant why some people throw stones at moving Vande Bharat trains.

Madly Rover Shares a Reality Check Video on YouTube

The video was uploaded to the YouTube channel Madly Rover under the title, “I Travelled on India's Fastest Luxury Train Vande Bharat.” It begins with the traveller waiting for the train at Mumbai station. He also speaks with the driver, attempting to understand how the train operates.

After boarding, Madly Rover walks through the train to explore its facilities. He also shows the breakfast served during the journey, but the rotating seats quickly become the main attraction of his experience.

Rotating Seats in Executive Class Impress the Traveller

The Executive Class seats can rotate 180 degrees, allowing passengers to change their seating direction. Madly Rover discusses the feature with fellow passengers and tries rotating the seats himself.

He particularly enjoys turning his seat towards the window to get a better view of the passing scenery. The feature can also be useful for families and groups of friends travelling together, as the seats can be positioned to face one another.

His reaction to the rotating seats stands out as one of the key moments in the video, highlighting a facility that allows passengers to customise their seating arrangement during the journey.

Speedometer Reading of 107 Kmph Surprises Him

Towards the end of the video, Madly Rover approaches the doorway and looks at the speedometer. He is surprised by the speed displayed, with the train travelling at 107 kilometres per hour at one point.

He appears particularly pleased with the combination of speed and a smooth ride. Although the Vande Bharat Express has a maximum capability of up to 160 kmph, the speed recorded during this journey was enough to impress the foreign traveller.

Traveller Asks Why Stones Are Thrown at Vande Bharat Trains

Madly Rover was also aware that some people throw stones at moving Vande Bharat trains. During the journey, he asks a railway attendant about the reasons behind the practice.

His curiosity about the issue adds another dimension to the video, which otherwise focuses largely on the train's passenger facilities and performance. He describes the Vande Bharat as one of India's most luxurious and fastest trains.

Vande Bharat Express Continues to Attract Attention

The Vande Bharat Express is known for facilities including automatic doors, a GPS-based information system, bio-vacuum toilets, charging points and comfortable seating. Foreign tourists have often compared their experiences aboard the train with those of high-speed trains in Japan and China.

The positive experiences shared by international travellers have also contributed to wider interest in India's modern railway services. A video featuring a foreign family's first journey aboard the Vande Bharat Express, including its food and their reactions, was previously shared by India TV on October 4, 2026.

Madly Rover's Mumbai-to-Pune journey has now brought renewed attention to the train's rotating Executive Class seats, onboard amenities and speed. His video offers prospective passengers a glimpse of the experience while highlighting the features that caught the attention of a visitor from the Netherlands.
